This piece has been digitally painted in an artistic style by GW Mireles. Pastel colors paint the sky in broad strokes above a serene, still lake somewhere in a still land. This lake view caught my eye in the early morning hours as the sun was coming up, while still hearing the animal sounds in the stillness of the air around me. I wanted to convey the same stillness with the impending excitement of the rising sun below the horizon.
