Description
Is this New Orleans or Galveston? The give away is the Texas flag hanging from the second floor porch. The architecture is similar and from the same time period. Large porches along the front of the residence with ceiling fans to blow away the tropical heat of summer. Windows with the all to familiar shutters and the wooden exterior common to the era reveal a welcoming mood to any island visitor. Flanked by two tropical palms the colorful porch radiates a southern charm about it. Shall we go in? What do you think about this piece?
