The sun was still rising as I was driving down seawall boulevard in Galveston, Texas. Just ahead of me was a series of buildings one of which looked to be a a hotel or condominium along the shoreline. This has the makings of a beautiful beach side view of the condo towers in the distance as they overlooked the serene beach ahead of it. My intention for this piece is to have a water color effect as well as a misty ethereal feel on a textured canvas. My signature bristle brush strokes add more to the texture simulating rain.
