Artist's Description
On the sea, two sailing vessels, maybe nearby, pass our line of sight. Is it the 17th century or the ships of sailing past ages? The wind filling their sails, the sea slightly rough and windblown tossing the smaller craft as it bobs from crest to crest. The other, a larger schooner sails toward it in total control of the wind and waves. This panorama depicts the sailing ships amid the vast ocean with large bristle brush strokes representing rain and the wind accompanying it, as the ships sail past.
