Sailing ships, masted schooners and the like upon the seas forlorn but less forgotten. We see them in books, videos and the movies crossing the seas calm and stormy alike. This piece depicts two such ships, the sea unforgiving, the wind providing the force in which the ships sail. This pair sailed just off the coast of Galveston during a parade of sailing vessels, such majestic ships brought back from the past. The sky was overcast, the wind steady and the seas rough for small craft but not enough to stop the sailing of these ships. What do you say about this piece Tall Ships, should they sail on?
