Between Las Cruces and Alamogordo, New Mexico, sits a range of mountains you must pass. The wonder of the sun swept mountains lent a faint air of amazement in which I created this piece of artwork. The back lit mountains cradle the land as it sweeps upward toward the sky, rising from the desert, brown and arid. Large brush strokes from the darkening clouds reveal the sunlight as it peaks over the mountain range.
