This is a scenic area and if you are traveling up the mountains from Alamogordo to Cloudcroft, it is worth the stop. The steep grades and sharp curves of the railroad are on display and for the more adventurous, a trail closer to Cloudcroft, makes itβs way through the mountain forest to the other side of the trestle. π²ππ€π
