This piece has been digitally painted in an artistic style by GW Mireles. San Antonio just happens to be a city we frequent quite often and during a nights stroll of the downtown Riverwalk area, the Casa Rio neon sign caught my eye. So I decided on creating this artwork with a bit of an impressionistic flair, accentuating the pink and white against the night sky. Wanting to make an indelible impression as it jumps out at you as if seeing it for the first time, I use large bristle brush strokes around the sign making the neon colors stand out even after closing your eyes.
