Early morning in Galveston, Texas on the seawall sits a restaurant which many enjoy drinks and good food. The sun was rising as I was walking past but what caught my eye were the colors of the building in contrast to the rising sun in the windows. I set upon my task to convey this feeling, sensing the fresh air as it comes off the Gulf of Mexico. Bold colors with a darkening green and large brush strokes along parts of the structure help with the change from a dark morning to a rising sun shining upon this fine eatery.
