There is a cemetery in Galveston, Texas that is just off Broadway street and in the spring, this cemetery blooms with flowers, like a carpet among the headstones and monuments. Passersby gawk and look in amazement at the abundance of color the flowers provide in this historic site. I captured this image during the early morning hours, finding just the right spot to display prominent monuments and headstones among the stunning yellow and orange colors of flowers. Bristle brush strokes pepper the sky as they breaks up the solid color of blue above.
