At the Moody Gardens Aquarium in Galveston, Texas I saw a small child waving his arms in amazement at the sea lions swimming in front of him. This piece portrays the young amazement of the child while the sea lions swam in front of him, almost teasing him with their presence. Colors of green, blue, purple and yellow within the aquarium waters brushed with a bristle brush in a circular motion follow the sea lions, while the child, in the dim light of the foyer stands out in front of the large pane of glass.
